Knowa Lazarus is an MC, lyricist, songwriter, and cultural Qreator, and one-half of the Filipino-American Hip Hop group Q-York. Born and raised in Queens, New York — the mecca of Hip Hop — he has spent over two decades mastering the art of MC’ing and expanding it into a full-spectrum craft that bridges music, visuals, and culture.

With Q-York, K. Laz has released groundbreaking music, including the certified Gold album "The Philippine Dream", which helped provide meals for over 35,000 children in the Philippines. As a performer, he has brought his words and vision to stages across Asia, the U.S., and beyond — blending Hip Hop with cultural heritage, global perspective, and a message of empowerment.

Beyond the mic, K.L. embodies the role of Qreator — writing and producing songs, crafting lyrics with depth and resonance, producing music videos, designing visuals and merch, and shaping platforms that inspire connection. His work is guided by purpose: using creativity not only to entertain, but also to educate, uplift, and unify.
